Newspeak

This summer I’m going to the Alps, in Switzerland. No, I have no intention of doing any skiing. I want to climb mountains. I want to play in the snow. Some photos from people who have been where we’re going before me.

I also want to do Via Ferrata,(Italian for “Iron road”) which is somewhere between walking and rock climbing. There are things permanently attached to the rock to make your climb simpler and quicker. Like ladders and steel cables to attach yourself to.
